The Labconco 7810010 CentriVap Benchtop Concentrator, 115V, 50/60Hz is a powerful and efficient solution for rapidly concentrating biological and chemical samples without the risk of bumping or foaming. Designed for maximum solute recovery, this unit features a microprocessor-controlled 300W heater that provides precise temperature regulation from ambient to 100°C in 1°C increments. Its optional Heat Boost™ technology delivers additional controlled heat directly around the chamber for accelerated evaporation. The integrated Quick-Start™ button allows for seamless operation by simultaneously starting the rotor, heater, timers, and optional accessory pump, while the Quick-Stop™ system ensures user safety by instantly stopping the pump, releasing the vacuum, and halting the rotor once the cycle is complete.
Built for convenience and durability, the CentriVap features a corrosion-resistant, epoxy-coated chamber for easy cleaning and decontamination. Its compact, low-profile design can be stacked on top of a cold trap to conserve valuable bench space. A safety latch prevents the lid from opening during operation, and users can choose between a durable acrylic lid or a glass lid for handling aggressive solvents. The brushless motor runs quietly and efficiently at up to 1725 RPM, and the programmable memory stores up to nine user-defined programs for repeated use. Ideal for handling standard or deep-well plates, this concentrator is perfect for labs requiring precise and reliable sample processing.
