The Hoefer SE600X Chroma Deluxe Dual Cooled Vertical Protein Electrophoresis Basic Unit is an advanced, ergonomic system designed for efficient protein separation and gel handling. With dual cooling capabilities, the SE600X offers precise temperature control across fully submerged gels, resulting in superior temperature equilibration and sharp, well-defined bands. Accommodating glass plates up to 18 x 16 cm, this unit is ideal for labs focused on achieving high-resolution protein and nucleic acid analysis. Its flexible design supports a variety of applications, including denaturing and native polyacrylamide gels, as well as the second-dimension of 2-D electrophoresis.
The SE600X can run up to four gels at once, allowing for simultaneous processing of up to 112 samples under identical conditions—ideal for high-throughput and comparative studies. With an array of accessories available, this system is easily customizable, enabling labs to configure gel setups tailored to specific research needs.
