The Boekel Scientific 290200 Hot Tub - Water Bath 14L w/polycarb lid can be used as a standard water bath or as a boiling water bath. User simply sets temperature into “boiling mode”. The unit has digitally controlled temperature with a built-in programmable timer. The temperature control is extremely accurate due to a three point factory calibration set in 0.1°C increments up to 100.0°C and PID controller. The Boekel Scientific 290200 Hot Tub - Water Bath 14L features a large digital display, a seamless, passivated stainless steel tank, and heating indicator LED. General purpose water baths offer excellent performance and are ideal for general lab applications. The special "boiling mode" is a convenient feature for melting agar and other applications requiring boiling temperature.
