Rugged and reliable, the ORIGINAL Vortex-Genie 2 is our most popular vortex mixer. The Scientific Industries SI-0236 Vortex Genie 2 Mixer offers variable speeds of 600 to 3,200rpm for gentle shaking to rapid vortexing of samples. Tough metal housing combined with just enough weight, provides a stable platform for all types of mixing. The 3-position power switch operates with continuous action or "Touch On" control. A broad range of additional attachments (sold separately) of various shapes, sizes, and materials allows for the mixing of almost all common tubes or containers. Ready for use with supplied pop-off cup and 3-inch platform.
