The Labconco 7320020 RapidVap Vertex Dry Evaporator, 115V, 60Hz is designed for efficient and contamination-free evaporation of samples in research and clinical laboratories. Utilizing dry heat technology, it eliminates the risk of cross-contamination associated with water baths while reducing maintenance requirements. The nitrogen blow-down system accelerates evaporation by lowering the partial pressure over the liquid surface, and its five nitrogen control valves allow selective use of nitrogen, conserving resources during partial runs. A front-mounted pressure regulator with an analog display offers precise pressure control, while the microprocessor-controlled heater is programmable from 30°C to 100°C in 1°C increments for precise temperature management.
Additional user-friendly features include a touchscreen interface, LCD display, and memory storage for up to 10 custom programs. The chemical-resistant glass lid allows clear visibility of samples, and the compact epoxy-coated steel design ensures durability and efficient use of space.
